So the other day, my alma mater’s newspaper ran a story about the March for Life and how the nation should be aware that there ARE alternatives to abortion. Link here: Nation needs education on abortion alternatives . The opinion article itself, written by Natalie Plumb, was strictly anti-choice propaganda and poorly researched points in the article, not to mention that comments against Natalie’s stance were deleted, but this comment above took the cake and shows exactly what is awful about the anti-choice movement and its supporters: they’re a bunch of fucking slut-shamers.

Katherine Nole is a Penn State student who stopped reading the Collegian because she thought it was “a waste of her time.” But since the Collegian decided to post something that shamed sexually-active women (even though it’s just an opinion piece), her time for the Collegian has been salvaged! All because the writer of the article represents Penn State’s chapter for Students For Life and had the same view as her, that she felt the need to shame women at Penn State who had abortions for whatever reason they had. 

Look Katherine, not all women that get abortions do it because they regret their drunken one-night stand. Some women have medical conditions that could become deadly if they got pregnant. Some women could have been raped or sexually assaulted. Maybe contraception failed them. Whatever reason they have is not up to you to judge. Just the fact that you claim most women got an abortion because they’re drunken whores is disgusting. You are a horrible human being and you are devaluing the life of living women that make the difficult choice to terminate their pregnancies to better their lives. So don’t you DARE claim that women make “careless decisions” about their lives when they get abortions. If anybody made a careless decision, it’s you Miss Nole.

Future employers will be seeing this and this post will be spread around like wildfire. It’s fine to have your own opinions, but when you show how disgusting of a person you are in internet form, I think employers should know what you’re really like: a slut-shaming jerk that doesn’t give a damn about the woman’s health or well-being.
